P0300 code, can someone help me. Im stumped

Alright so my car has been acting funny. When I am at a stop when in gear(D,2,etc) I can feel in my gas pedal a mis but my passengers cant feel it and when I get on it and get to a high RPM I can feel a slight miss(not bad at all). This is occasionally, it doesnt happen every time I stop or every time I get on it. My car has NGK platinum plugs w/ about 10K on them. Does any have a clue whats wrong??
::EDIT:: Fuel filter has about 6K on it
::EDIT 2:: No CEL
::EDIT 3:: Now I am getting ****** gas mpg

Probably something fuel related. Filter? Pump?

You have a '99, correct?

Still on your original coils? If so, there's your problem.

cylindar 5 is brand new, but the rest are original I guess. Changing all of the coils will be quite expensive. I got the P0300 code cause one of friends works at the dealer and scanned it for free

Well I suggest you take off the spark plug cover and unplug those coils one by one and see if the idle changes. Then do the same for the rear coils. This will tell you which coil is bad. However, if your problem is intermittent...I would suspect something else like a fuel pump or injector or something not giving the motor enough gas.

Try the coils first,but If you read the chart that's posted on this thread and read all of those possible problems and figure out If any of these are causing the car to acted up. Good luck.
