Wow. I know what you mean by falling in love even more with this car. I saw a couple of shots of the Stillen one on VQPower but these pictures just make it look so much better.

I think that Nissan did a really good job designing this car, even though I didn't like it initially, and Stillen did a great job setting it off with the right stuff.

Man this car is sick!!!! So clean and slick not overdone, not all up in your face....just clean!!!! I can imagine just driving down the Highway and see this sleek vision in your rear view mirror and can't figure out what it is until it is right up on you and then your like DAMN......................Then just as quickly as you saw it coming up she passes by and pulls away!

I am modifying my MAX as well and I can't wait to see what else will be out there in the future!!! I probably won't go as far as the stillen ride but I will no doubt come pretty close :-)

Thanks for coming out jsmithsole.. it was good hanging out and seeing you again..

Let me know when you jump on the new max! LOL

At some point we'll be removing the logos from the STILLEN Maxima.. I'm sure that will help clean things up for those that think it's a little too much.

Also, we've debated back and forth on the front lip section red pinstriping.. I'm tempted to yank it off.. thoughts anyone?

I was never for the pinstriping, just didn't strike me, but it's unique, my opinion, get rid of it, and Josh, did you guys just simply paint the chrome side things on the door/windows black or are they replacements?

We'll keep it for the entire car.. but the lower grille section near the lip spoiler was added late.. not sure if it's too busy..

The stainless window surrounds were painted black.. the side mirrors were painted black and the (as i like to call it) the bedazzled section on the mirror was painted ("smoked").. a heavy tint, as well as paint matched handles (they come plastic chrome)..

I love the look of that thing! Also, I think the red pinstripe makes it look better. Its sort of like the red stitching on the leather interior.

I like the look of the red pin stripe to be honest!!! I think it adds a bit of seperation to the max, if it were me I would keep it!

Nice pics, I'm not really feeling the Decals on the side, I think they attact too much attention away from the car.

The pin stripe isn't exactly my cup of tea but at least they do compliment the red brake lights in the back.

The car looks amazing.

I thought the wheels would have been switched out already though. The back wheels look like they are trying to hide from everybody...

No worries, it was fun (even though it was freezing out!)

And I agree with you to remove the red maybe just in the lower front, the rest looks good IMO. BTW, I never got my XL shirt!!! lol

Josh, I'm not sure if this has been asked of you but if you can, would you mind uploading a video/sound bite of the Stillen Exhaust System on this site so we can all hear how it sounds??

Thanks in advance.

The car looks tight on the road.

Please Josh, Let's get some sound of this puppy!!! I am sure everyone would be more anxious to fork out the cash for a product they most definitely can hear since most people buy an exhaust system for the sound output!!! To me it really does not matter how much of a numbers improvement a system brings if it sounds like a fart can know what I mean.....we all will be paitiently standing by :-)

Hey jsmithsole, you say you heard the system and it sounds awesome and I can't wait to hear it myself, could you relate it to one of the sounds on Youtube for Stillen exhaust in a G35. I have looked at almost all of them and I can say they sound awesome since I have never had the chance to hear a stillen exhaust in person.

I am so excited since Santa (aka my awesome wife) bought me the full Cat-Back Exhaust System which just arrived at my home this afternoon. I am supposed to play dumb and act excited for the big day. FEDEX arrived a day early on my day off and I was home to accept the package when it came in ooops! So now I have to wait and keep looking at that big 45 pound box in my garage until the big day..........or at least until I bug my wife enough to just let me go and install it already!!!!! I will post pics and sound clips ASAP once I get the green light to install it!

You need to (and will obviously) hear it in person but it's hard to compare to something on line. It sound nice, deep and a bit throaty. Put is this way I wasn't paying attention but when he started it up I took notice right away to see who's car it was!!!

Not sure if anyone asked but did Josh lower this Max? If so, what springs did he use, were they adjustable or what?

The car looks so much better when lowered, Maximas have always had too much wheel gap IMO.

Anybody got any recommendations on what springs to use for lowering?
