title says it all, my buddy needs a ecu for his 2001 max. Does anyone know anyone with a wrecked 5th gen thats parting the car out? Lives in Charlotte Nc btw. Also heard they run for around 800-1000. Is that the right price??

Not unless you're buying it brand new from the dealer...

Around here expect ~$150ish, at the most.

 

auto or manual? also, is the AE ecu any different, cuz im not sure if mine is from an AE....
