IMO no amount of paint would make those things look good.

Just to flashy for me. If you like them, that's all that matters really. It would take a fair amount of prep work to get them things ready for paint. Prepping is the key to the best finish. Good amount of sanding and cleaning required.

I wouldn't do flat black. I would do a semi type gloss. It would be difficult to clean for sure if you just did flat black.

Look around your area and see if you could get them powder coated black. It would be alot better then any paint.

Around $50+ a wheel. Polished lip too? That's gonna take some work. Might want to find something that you don't gotta work on.

yes?

Well, if you maybe get em resurfaced and painted i think they would look pretty good. for a hundred bucks, theyre worth the tires on the rims, as long as theyre in good shape

if you are a DIY guy and have time and patience then do it, because they are gonna be a PITA to refinish them by yourself.

$75 for 5 rims+tires= $15 each. I doubt the guy will take anything less then $100.

The style is okay, but they do look rough. How does a set of wheels get to that point? Were they chrome at one time? With the price of the wheels and the cost of powdercoating, you could buy much nicer. I like hi-tek22's idea though. If you don't like the outcome, you could always unload them.

Exactly. If you don't like them you can always sell them for way more then what you bought them for after the powdercoating.
