POSSIBLE to get bilsteins for 5th gen?

I searched and searched and i found was posts back in 03/04 saying that bilstein wont make any struts for us.

I was told they make it for the 4th gen?( from anther member on the org) and to use the rears on the 5th because its the same, but I never seen them for sale.( 4th gen)

Also I looked online and one website sells a HD for the front left for the maxima.
Wth is the front right or the rears?

Does anyone know if they ever made them for our cars?

Is there a car in europe or something that has the same set up as us that bilstein makes it for?

I understaand that everyone goes coils or agx/ illuminas, I have had GC's Skunk 2's and Bilsteins on my other cars and i love Bilsteins the best.

So I wanted to try to get some if they are out there for the max.

Any help is appreciated. THANKS!

no. it's not afaik.

if you want them so bad just call up the manufacturer

they > the org about their own products.

just get a good set of COs and you'll be fine, or Illumina's and springs. but COs > springs

I just pick up a 2000 gle, with 127,000 miles & right now I was on the process of changing all the struts & shocks. I got a kyb from BAP geon for 92 dollars for the front $ 62 dollars for the rear. I will let you know how it feels when I stall them tomorrow, plus outer tire rod for 17 bucks a piece.

Unfortunately they don't make them for the Maxima, Bilstien are very good shock/struts, in my opinion, cuz they are usually found on european cars, they do have very good firm compliant ride. I had them on my Benz, when I had to replace them, I was surprised to know they are stock from Mercedes supplied by Bilstien.

Why??? You don't like Japanese dampners on a Japanese car?

I'm rolling with Illuminas/Progress Sport Springs and I think the ride is better than OEM SE! It's firm, compliant with better control yet very smooth!
