Question about doing Brake Job

I am going to be replacing the brake pads on the front of my 05 maxima.

The rotors arent warped from what i can tell by driving and braking. I am going to get some ceramics from AutoZone. I used them on my other car and they worked good.

So my question is do you turn your rotors everytime you put new pads on?

If you dont turn the rotors do you do anything to the rotors before putting on the new pads?

not "advanced" enough.

but heres an answer:
whenever you replace pads, it is best and most recommended to have the rotors resurfaced (given that there is enough rotor to resurface). its a fairly inexpensive job to do for any shop. pads and rotors wear together so new pads on an old rotor wont wear and bed-in properly and vice versa. think of them like a couple. if ones old school and the others new school, they wont get along properly and will have an unstable and "shaky" relationship. lame analogy i know.
