02 6-speed in a 4th Gen - Would it be an advantage?
Depends on the gear ratios and since the std test for speed is 1/4", I would assume it would also depend on if the extra shift would be worth the taller(#) gear ratios. But in general, I say yes. But before anyone gets any bright ideas, I heard the new Nissan 6-sp and Altima 5-sps are cable shifted? I don't know how that works for a tranny swap to a fork shifted tranny. Maybe it doesn't matter at all?
don't forget the 6spd is hooked upto a 3.5L V6 i dunno if it will work with a 3.0L the setup maybe a little different but with money everything is possible, might as well do both(engine&tranny)
