All units have everything that they need to function included as if you were to buy them new minus instructions/boxes (for some). I will send a video of the subs with a voltmeter attached to it to show you that the coils are not fried and that they are in good working order. All sales are final and no refunds due to the electronic nature of the items being sold but they all work 100%.

 

PAC radio remote interface $50 is used to maintain the steering wheel buttons with an aftermarket radio, correct? Is this in top working order?

what version are the subs?

 

What do you mean by what version? They are Jl Audio w7 series subs 8 and 10 are 3ohms.

 

if you go to the jl site and check out the w7 it tell you the version
example "8W7-3" <--- this is version 3, which is the newest version
each version have different spec, i notice this because i was looking forward to buying some of the jl sub on ebay and notice that they are mostly version 2 and have way different spec

W7's don't come in different versions the 8w7-3 you see the 3 denotes 3 ohms not version. there are no versions of the w7 b/c there haven't been any changes since the w7's were first made. the w1, w3, w6 have different versions cuz they have changed. Versions are denoted with v1, v2, or v3 10w6v2 for example.

Wrong! Go to JL's site. Go to the discontinued link and nowhere does it say that there are different versions of the w7. I've had w7's since they first came out and there have been no changes to the design. Call JL if you don't believe me. LOL As I stated in the above post the number behind the w7 denote the ohms not the version. These are the "versions" that the w7's come in 8w7-3, 10w7-3, 12w7-3, and 13w7-D1.5 (dual 1.5 ohms). Same original w7 line no changes so no versions 2, 3, 4!!!!!!!!

The unit worked and sounded great! Look around on car audio forums dvd players are more superior to regular CD players b/c of the laser pickup. Standard CD players are 1bit DAC while DVD HU's are 24bit DAC. Picture quality on alpine HU have always been clearer on Alpines than any other screens in my opinion. I will sell the HU, remote, ipod cable and video bypass for $400 shipped. Let me know b/c I have another buyer but money talks. I accept Paypal.
