Has everyone seen February Consumer Reports hatchet job on new Maxima? "CVT - annoying at times. Sometimes bobs over road undulations. Steering disconcertingly light at city speeds. Some body lean. Some torque steer. Interior quality problems - mismatched textures, exposed screws. Steering wheel has coarse tilt increments. Mirror and some climate controls are too far away. Shorter drivers found the thigh cushion extension too long. Rear seat has less room than Altima, with limited head room. Rear seat is low, reducing thigh support. High windowsills make it difficult for kids to see out. Rear seatbacks fold down, but difficult to reach release without getting our clothes dirty. Headlights - big bad black dot (much worse than average). Overall - did not receive a CR recommendation." What are these guys smoking?
