yesterday, i went and checked out a 93 se. It was an auto. and didn't have leather, which i want. I also wanted a 5 speed. It had 115k mi. on it. Did have a cd player though. Should I buy it, his price was $5500, what problems are there at this mileage?

5500 is a good price. around here a 93 gxe goes for 8000 with that many miles. my max has 185,000 on it and it still purrs. is it from a dealership?

If you want a 5-speed, don't settle. It will be worth the wait.

yes i agree w/ Lord

wait for a stick, you won't regret it, i have an auto, and it sux. 'nuff said. had it rebuilt but i could,nt afford a new torque converter, got the same one on there now. i think 5 speeds can handle more abuse.

YEah....kinda like my 92GXE does....I will probably have to get that rebuilt VERY soon...My 90SE 5 spd can take a ton of abuse as long as you put a heavy duty clutch (or if you have the money, a racing clutch) and lots of $$$ for tires if you think that smokin' is cool...personally, I don't do that to often because it is downright stupid, but if someone wants to see me do it, i will. All in the sense of "Showin' Off"...Thats what it's all about right?..Wrong..You have to have the wallet to support your habits...Right now, I can't afford to keep doing that.

no, it's a prvate seller, the guy was selling because he got a ford ranger.(what a crazy idiot) but hey, the price was good which excuses him from buying a domestic in my opinion.
