HTPerformance is a Premium aftermarket parts designer and manufacturer. We would like to hear what you are interested in modifying on your 7th gens!

I've inquired to see who is local to us and will hopefully find some willing candidates to help us do product fitment and testing.

Post up your thoughts and Ideas and we'll roll from there.

Cheers,
Brian

Great offer to support the 7th Gen.

I believe that most 7TH Gen'rs are not looking to add turbos or SCs yet because all of our cars are under warranty, that is, unless you can get Nissan to approve your company to build it and they back it with a warranty.

I think most of us want things for performance such as:
UDP, Intakes (CAI/WAI), Headers or Full Catback Exhaust systems, RSB/FSB, Springs (adjustable/non adjustable).

Others want the cosmetic things for the exterior like:
Bodykits (full), HID Light Kits or Angel Eye Kits or external antennas and vent visors.

A few here would probably like interior add-ons like Blue Light Kits for all interior lighting, Custom Seat Covers with Maxima name or Nissan Logo (for those without leather), some prefer Wood Grain kits.

Good luck with the sales.

yeah, catback exhaust, rear lip lower lip, body parts, rims, brakes, intakes, maybe chipped computer to up the power in the lower range 1st and 2nd gear. Some cool interior lighting, suspension, maybe some strut and sway bars. Simple stuff that won't cause a headache with the warranty or make any harm to the engine being its the 1st year production.

You all know about the Magnussen Moss Warranty Act of 1975 right? You all mention not voiding the warranty by modifying... Wiki isn't the most reliable info source, but it should give you a primer on the subject: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act

Basically it boils down to: modify all you want, and if the dealership gives you hell, then there needs to be some action taken against them.

HTP is correct. A few of my friends with Mazdas used it when it was clearly a factory problem that the new MZR 2.3L turbo engines in the Speed3 and Speed6 were blowing, either modded, or even completely stock with 2300 miles!

As for what mods we'd like...
Lip kit, not a body kit
Intakes
Exhaust

The I/E combo will be the best way to get performance for the Maxima, like any other car. Cost effective, easy to isntall/uninstall, and will sound mean =)

I saw your post on the 6th gen forum and want to say it's good to see you are expending to the Maxima community and working your way to the non american made automobiles.

Is anyone doing Turbo or SC for their 7th gen? We started up a group buy for 5th+ gen MAF sensor housings for FI and those who want to make a DIY intake. We'll be happy to start you guys off with this product as well, then we'll move into other directions.

Check out the group-buy thread: http://forums.maxima.org/group-deals...y-intakes.html

I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have!

Cheers,
Brian

what i would like to see on this maxima is TAKE OFF THE CHROME PLEASE!! the front grill get some black mesh going...the chrome around the windows need to go also....and a tail light overlay would be cool...headlights in my opinion are g00d ....

ummm lets see what else could i think off....blow off valve?? lol jk...
headers, intake, exhaust, ecu (if the cvt could take it), i think SC would be better then Turbo because its automatic i don't think the cvt could take a turbo...but then again a SC could break it also...

maybe a nice muscle car (magnaflo sounding exhaust) because i bet the stillen and whatever other exhaust thats out makes it sound like a ricer...
ill tell you one thing if there is a exhaust that could give it a muscle car sound ill definatly buy it.

A ECU tune or OBDII plug-in like the bullydog, but does more ?
I would love to see more out of the car 0 - 40 mph... the WOT governor limits this, would be great if you could get the car to peak rpm much sooner I think everyone would buy that!

I would be very interested in a turbo if there was a way to fix the issue with the CVT fluid heating up to much. I heard that there were some problems in the Altimas that had the turbos blowing the transmission because the CVT fluid was not properly cooled. Exhaust, Intake, Headers, UDP, Body Kits (Full), and DEFIANTLY AN ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION.

STAGE KITS !

Stage 1: 45 HP (Intake, exhaust, Engine Retune, CVT adjustment)
Stage 2: 75 HP (something in between the 2...)
Stage 3: 100 HP (probably a turbo kit with CVT Cooler?)

Anything assist wit the low end lag. Do not know how you would do it but to give a good sounding performance exhaust of a v8 as oppose to a v6 :-).

What I would want would be some kind of metal brace for the under side of the lip on our front bumpers.

I am thinking of adding a tint to the windows and would like some headrest monitors for the backseat. Matching the leather with the stitching is going to be fun(ie expensive).

Exactly. There's so much potential in retuning these cars and their CVT programming that it's sick! I hope someone can step up and make a plug and play recalibrating unit to make the ratio progression more aggressive.

A nice CAI and catback are always good too.

I would like some body mods to lower the Coefficient of Drag. I spend most of my time cruising highways and would like to make it a bit less susceptible to head-winds.

body kits, and front grills. So far all the grills I have seen don't attract my attention, I like the stillen one, however I haven't seen it in production yet.

I would also like to see a lower matching grill to the stock top grill. And maybe matching chrome inserts to the other two areas to the left and right of the stock lower grill.

A reasonbly priced, complete, fog light kit, for the folks with the S model.

A resonator delete pipe for the exhaust system, or muffler delete, with some nice rounded exhaust tips. Again reasonably priced. Stillen is very proud of their parts and name.

Thanks.

I am close to buying one, but I think 20% tint and a remote start would be a good starting point!

I would appreciate a quote next time. But yes, I think this is almost an absolute must considering the height of the bumper.
