Got 19" M45 wheels, what finish to do?

Hey guys I just got 19" M45 wheels off ebay. Im gonna redo the finish either black/smoked chrome or powdercoat them with a similar color and put on a high gloss finish. Thats the extent of what I know about chroming or powdercoating. Id greatly appreciate some advice (pros & cons) on choosing the finish. P.S. I cant believe this guy let all 4 go for $610 lol!

I'd smoke them the same color as the car. Gunmetal always looks good though.

You got the right idea. Black Chrome or Gunmetal. Paint matching is more money with powder coat but cheaper with paint.

Or eat a bullet and feel the same effect. The whole lip thing is sooo popeyes its not even funny. One smooth dark color that blends well with your car should do the trick.

On a side note, has anyone here ever seen an OEM rim with a chrome lip? Excluding BMW 5 series mesh because that was a high polish lip not chrome.

OOOO my baaaading, birdy num num.............. Yes I have the chrome overlays but its hard to do any work up here in the winter when the temps get so cold. But that along with re-paint and new tires is on the menu for midd to late April.
