I know nothing about rims, so please educate me.
Does anyone know if my car can fit with the rims Enkei Evo5 17 X 7 with 42 offset. I wanna get that rims without buying new tires. now i'm running 235-45-17 on my stock rims SE. Is that possible to put my old tires into those rims?
Also, i have tried to search about The stock, SE 17", rims offset, but no couldnt find the answer. Are these rims, Enkei EVO5 17X7 with 42 offsets, will make any rubbing?
Since i'm thinking i wanna upgrade my brakes with 6th gen rotors and calipers, will these rims also clear them? on this thread Irish44j mentions that if '00 and '01 rims will not clear them. instead, '02 and '03 will clear them.

Btw, before someone tries to flame me, i know that i have already posted this question to here.

However, i have no respond, so please dont do it.

rubbing issues wont be found with such a narrow and high offset wheel. although the offset is a bit high for bbk clearance. consider something wider with a lower offset (8" +30et or something close). also make sure the spoke design is flush with the rim or "bends outwards", giving maximum caliper clearance. im not sure how much backspacing youre going to need for the caliper clearance though. youre best bet is to just get oem rims that fit the 6th gen brake kit.
as far as tire sizing, it should fit alright, but may bubble out more than one may want. especially taking safety considerations. id run at least a 7.5" for a 235 wide tire.
please read the stickies in this section as there are a LOT of useful links and information that has already been said. dont forget to search too.
