FS:/ Utec with harness

For Sale: Utec with PNP harness already put togethe for 5.5th Gen.

Another great option for a tuning device. Utec has functioned extremely well for the Subbies and G's/Z's Add a wideband and have about as much control as you would with the Emanage Ultimate or greater.

$500 shipped, first come first serve, pics will be up later this evening.

Pics:

Also a correction the harness is a modified so that it will work perfectly with the 5.5th Gens. The red wires coming out are labeled and you match it to the correct wire on the harness and solder it in, or use butt connectors and then your good to go.

Also included are serial to USB converter, 3' serial cable. 9v cable to attach to the utec to give constant power if your remove it from the car but dont want to loose your settings.

has the utec been opened up?

a lot of wires are missing. i believe its 81 wires for that bigger plug. and it looks like only 11 are there, which have red ones comming from that area

utec was open. Wires are tucked inside.

the wires that are present, are the wires needed and the only wires needed for this to function on a 5.5th Gen Maxima. Those other additional wires would be needed say on a Z/G or even STi

i know the 350z utec is supposed to be plug and play on the SER..

this would not work without some more wiring on my SER right?

i am looking for a utec right now.

this is the same exact thing as teh UTEC for 350z (350z-utec) correct?
Would it work with a 4.5 gen? (of course I would have to rewire stuff correct?)

same utec the 350/g's use. its modified to work with the 5.5th gens. Not sure if it would work with the 4g's

If it does I might end up keeping it

I know... but this stuff is 5th gen related (except for the 3.5 swapped) so didnt think the right people would see it with my stuff in the 4th gen f/s section.

still want em?

I guess those red wires are only wires you need to control fuel n ign timing. How abt the wires needed to extend the rev-limiter, are they in those red once ?
from what i know utec mods the maf volts to -/+ fuel like afc ?
Would it be able to datalog ign. timing with just those red wires ?

No the utec can alter the injector pulse, and make timing adjustments directly. Other AFC which do fuel altercation use the MAF technique to make its adjustments. Actually adjusting the pulse width of the injectors will yeild a better and more acurate result.

Those pics look like the UTEC that I modified. He's right that the wires on the main harness are just tucked into the case. I pulled the wires for timing, fuel, and sensor inputs that are needed. The others do not need to be spliced as far as I understand.

If I remember right, each wire is labeled with a 5.5 gen pin number, and what it is, so you can just pull up a diagram of your ECU for the install instead of having to connect the dots with both the 350z and maxima ecu up.
