Spacers and Vias installation/deletion today!

Getting these done today...finally! I can't wait to see the difference! Also soon I will be powder coating some G35 18s pics will be up soon! I have been having trouble finding a dealership to do the timing advance, either they don't want to take the risk or they say it will just change back after they unhook the tool.....lame!

I know you're excited and all, but wouldn't it better if you got everything done first, then posted the thread? Not much of a discussion if you don't already have them. Just sayin...

BS on both counts, they should know that 17 degs base timing is within the safe range, and if they do it right, it'll stick even if you reset the ECU.

Dealers suck around here.. I dread even attempting to talk them into the timing advance.

You can't call them...you just have to show up...don't even talk to anyone but a service tech themselves, show them 40$ and the instructions if they need it.

It will be hard to gauge any power increase with the roads being slippery around here this time of year...

IIRC, the NWP site states that you will not realize the true potential of the spacers until the heat of summer. Warming the intake charge in Winter does not degrade performance by much, if at all.

I actually noticed driving 40 miles, opened the hood and felt the manifold....luke warm at best....normally very hot!

I noticed that the manifold is still hot with the spacers, but not 3rd degree burns hot like it was before the install.
