Disassembling K-Sports..have a few questions

Well, I just purchased some K-Sports and they are in need of replacement struts. My main question is, other that the difference in certain parts, are disassembling ksports similar to a regular spring/strut? I have searched the org, and put in plenty of time in on google and cant really find a definitive answer. And with that, are there other things that need/should be replaced or serviced with the replacement of the struts?

Also, upon inspection, it seems that one of the pillowball mounts has way more play that the other on the front strut. Could anything else be causing these, or do I need to just go ahead and order a replacement?

all coilovers are similar. the only wear items will be the dampers, bushings/pillowballs, and dust boots.

as far as disassembly, it's as straight forward as can be. remove the bolt that holds the tophat then the spring, bumpstop/dustboot, collars, and bottom bracket.

That's why you don't buy Ksports..... 35k miles and they're done... throw 'em away and buy more.
