VE30DE (92-94SE) Custom Fit Cold Air Intake (with pics)
VE30DE (92-94SE) Custom Fit Cold Air Intake (with pics)
I recently picked up Greeny's CAI from his thread and I am selling my old cold air intake.
In order to make this fit the VE you will need to cut away a VERY small amount of flimsy sheet metal beneath the headlight. No power tools are required- just some simple hardware store metal snips are all you need. You will use your current mid-pipe so no vacuum/coolant lines will need to be re-routed.
The kit comes with:
(1) - Pipe that goes from MAF to Headlight Area
(1) - 90 Degree Bend pipe that goes from headlight area into fender
(1) - MAF Adapter w/4 Screws
(2) - Black Silicone pipe connectors w/ metal fasteners
(1) - K&N air filter (Used but still red)
Both pieces are 3" in diameter, T305 Aluminum, and have been painted gloss black- the main pipe has a NWP sticker on it that can be removed before sale if needed.
If your car is in good running condition you will probably notice a slight increase in power at all RPM's, however it is most prominent in low rpm's. It will also make the intake noticeably louder, and downright mean sounding near redline. (sound/video clips available)
Here are the pics:

Sorry, no pics of it off of the car as it is at my dad's house right now.
Looking to get $70 shipped but will entertain offers.
