Q45 calipers over stock 5.5gen rotors

I know that most people, when upgrading to a multi-piston brake setup, opt for the 6th gen or Cobra rotors, using Z32 or Wildwood calipers, etc etc. But I was wondering if anyone ever put any sort of 2+ piston (Q45 or otherwise) calipers over the stock-size 5.5 gen (11.65") rotors. Thanks for any info you guys have.

i believe the 5g is the same as the 4g in the fact that you have to mill down the rotor diameter to run q45 calipers. there is info in the advanced braking section.

this is the 11.05" 00-01, or the 11.65" 02-03? I forgot to specify, but i was only asking about 5.5gen front brakes. I know about the milling for the 11.05" rotors (i think people get J30 rotors, mill them, then put the full Q45 hardware setup over them. Greeny had only the caliper body, with stock 3rd gen [same as 4th] pads/tqmember)

Correct but incorrect! The 5th and 4th Gen have the same diameter rotor but the 5th is missing .75"-1.0" of material on the inboard side of the rotor face to clear the larger spindle assembly(on the 5th) this is why their more prone to warping than the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Gen's which all had 11" rotors and minimum warpage issues!
