How the F*** did i screw up installing clear side marker lights lol

Last night I pulled my side marker lights with a screwdriver and cloth then installed some clears, now neither one will light up (yes i put the bulbs back into the new housing) I don't know if maybe they werent working in the first place? i guess i never payed attention. What could i have possibly done to cause them not to work? How would i troubleshoot the problem?

I would play with the wire. That is what I had to do. They got kinked somehow during the change over. Weird!

Ha I remember doing mine and i was rushed so i shook the bulb a little to much and i had to get a new one. Start with the easiest solution.

Yeah thats what i was trying to say. FYI when I broke mine I broke the front right and back left so they don't both have to go out.

Buy a test light and see if you've got power going to them.

Try taking the bulb out and twisting it 180 degrees. At least with my LED bulbs there is a positive and negative. I dont know if theres any risk to it, but i always change my corner bulbs with the lights on so i can quickly identify which way is the correct way.

They could have possibly never worked in the first place. I know I didn't realize my back (red) sidemarker lights didn't work until I went to replace them with clear sidemarkers and colored bulbs. You probably just need to replace the bulbs...

cant be the fuse if the rears are still working ... theyre on the same circuit. but if those went out too, its gonna be the fuse under the hood.
