What is you favorite feature on your new max?

So with the recent focus on the minor issues with the max, I feel we need a more positive topic for the 09 max. So the idea with this topic is to pick the ONE feature you love in the max that you couldn't do without now.

So to start, I pick the thigh extension. This simple addition had turned what would be a comfortable seat into one of the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. I feel that after experiencing this feature I will probably never want another car unless it has this extension.

I went and looked at the new Maxima while I was looking for a new vehicle. I sat in a Satin White Premium w/o Navigation and I didn't like the wood grained trim. I thought it looked 'old man' and didn't like it. I started up the car and took a good look and then suddenly my butt and my back got nice and cool.

for as long as I can remember, that's been a chief complaint of mine for every car I have owned. Hot back and hot butt from long trips and sitting too long.

I left and looked at every car imaginable; and the cooling seats sold the car to me. I came back and made the order and I'm quite happy that I did. I made a good choice, and the wood trip isn't so bad afterall .

The supportive seats are my favorite...My Z28 was like sitting on a bench or in lawn chair compared to the Max seats (with Sport package if it makes any difference?)

Then I'd have to say the heated steering wheel/seats. Very good in winter.

I'm new to bluetooth in a car, so that has been very convenient. When the hot summer comes, I feel certain that the A/C seats are going to run a close second. Every feature in the car is great!

No, wait, The air conditioned driver's seat!

No, wait! The CVT that reads my mind!

No, wait! The backup camera!

No, wait! The rear window power sunscreen!

No, wait! The heated steering wheel!

No, wait! The . . . oh, what the heck; no way I could ever choose just one feature.

honestly the best feature could be the tilted side mirrors as you reverse the car...

but then theres the hands free blue tooth...but then again theres those heated seats and steering wheel.... come to think of it the speed and acceleration that comes with the max at no extra charge!!!..... ohhh wee.. just got chills... lol lmao

I agree with lightonthehill. It's difficult to pick just one.

But the iPod interface is a very nice feature too.

No more forgetting to load up on CD's for a trip and trying to find a decent radio station.

I'm with you on the Thigh Extension because I have long legs and I usually could never find a car that accomodated that extra length that I needed to support my legs(especially on long trips-my legs would fall asleep) but in the Max with that extension my legs never go to sleep.

I also agree with this quote below, which I why I didn't elect for the Wood grain:

I thought it looked 'old man' and didn't like it.

Bluetooth/hands-free is great here where ppl do not drive defensively.

Living in South FL, its definitely the cooled seats. This feature sets the Max apart from other cars in its class, even the G37.

I love this CVT transmission. It gives you the best of both worlds. When driving in D mode, you get a well controlled and smooth driving experience. But if you're looking for a little more thrill, kick it over in Ds and use the paddle shifters, and hold on to your shorts. This car can move like a bat out of hell if you want that out of her.

I had all of the other features in my M35x so nothing is really new for me, but the one thing that constantly stands out is the CVT. That is the main reason why I bought the Maxima over the new TL or G35.

I agree maxmus, the CVT is a thrilling ride. One of the coolest things about it is watching the RPMs stay at one point while accelerating, just based on how much power I give her. It's such a new experience, and it is wonderful.

When you hold the unlock on the key fob,the front windows roll down until you let go.

Because of the whole keyless entry, I've used the key fab twice since I got the car. I love the keyless entry and start feature.

I wish I had cooled seats. But no, I live in Sunny Florida and have friggen HEATED seats. Just what I needed....

You know, the coolest thing I like about my max???? Not gadgets and gizmos. It's the "wow factor". I get stares all the time. Comments at stores and such, even one lady asked if I could take her for a ride in it. (not that my wifey would appreciate that)

I'm sure your wifey wouldn't mind, as long as the lady was either under age 12 or over age 70. Ladies between those ages would either have to have their husbands accompanying them, or be negotiated through your wife ahead of time. We really can't blame your wife, because this '09 Maxima is a very seductive thing.
