Would you buy these? (2 '92 maximas)

I recently bought another 3rd gen maxima after regretting selling my first one last summer.

Well shortly after buying it, I see this ad for 2 maximas for sale for $1000cdn. Should of waited.. lol

Anyways I'm thinking of buying them for parts car as I need parts for mine. There isn't too many 3rd gens that are in good condition around here and this cheap. Even the junkyards I'm unlucky to find them around here.
Would this be a good deal? they would be both $500. everything works and nothing to be done out of the ordinary to them except the suspension, which frankly I do not care too much about for now.

both are identical. except one's dark gray and the other light gray.

Sure, if you have the money and the space to keep them, and if they are running, then yes I would buy them if I were you. You can always fix up the one you want to keep using the parts from the other two and then sell the ones you don't want for a profit or at least to cover your expenses.

It looks like two pics of the same car to me.

Is there anything on them that you actually need or think you will need shortly?

It seems like a decent deal, but if you don't really need them for anything, might as well let someone buy them to drive instead of parting them out.

yea those pics are the same car, the ad only had those three photos. I'll go take a look later this week at them.

I'll need 4 rotors, 4 calipers, filler neck(mine is leaking), driver side turn signal, replace spoiler(mine is cracked through), cv joints (if in good condition), need the tires on them since my summer tires are used up too much, exhaust again if in good condition. need one trunk to shave it, not sure if it will turn out good that's why i'd love to have a spare in case something happens.
And I also want to use one of them as a project car, always wanted to do that.

your filller neck is leaking... you might wana try a parts car thats rust free i doubt either of those would have an undamaged one (judging by the rust in those pics)

i would buy them....but it would be just so i can rip out the tranny and engine i dont think you can find 2 jy engines and 2 jy trannies for $1000 all together....but $1000 bucks for used brakes, tires, a half rusted exhaust and an off color spoiler is definetly not worth it

They both run and drive? Personally any car that can run and drive ok is worth $500 to me at least. I would do it only if they both were driveable.

If your doing it because you need those parts you listed. I would not buy them. For a $1000 you can get the rotors and calipers, even brake pads, a new axle, instead of the used cv joint, not sure if you can even swap just that. and you might even have money leftover to go get a jy spoiler. have it painted. not sure what to do about the filler neck. This is doing all the brake work yourself of course.

yea, finally I think I won't buy them. I could always try and bring the price down if they are still there in a couple months. but for now i'll pass.

by the way, they are not really rusty for the year/conditions here(quebec) they are actually in really good shape.

Although, if they are only $500 each what do you have to lose? Sounds like a good deal to me.
