nice run, whats up with the exhaust? or is it just the video? kinda loud, like you unbolted the exhaust somewhere.

also, the car is fast and all, but i think its time for some spring cleaning, lol. (front lip falling off, fog light, engine bay, etc.)

Jean the burnout's were not long enough for the temp's, did you pull the e-brake

also ingore those dumbazzez at the track when it comes to the waterbox they were bring you up too far and had your rear tires in the water. put the front tires in the water and just flag them off

start the burnout there with the e-brake on till the dr's start to pull you out

all in all nice times for your 1st time out

Go before show.

Order one of these so you can squeeze a lil more power out your setup.

Are those 26" tires? That's probably a little too much tire. I noticed you're nowhere near 4th when you cross the traps. I think you would be see a decent improvement in ET if you tried some smaller diameter tires like 225/50-15 MTs.
Also, are you doing your burnout in 1st gear. If so, try 2nd. It's a little harder on your drivetrain, but it'll heat up the tires better. I prefer to spin the tires just a little while I roll through the waterbox. Then I start my burnout at the end of the waterbox.
Looking into my crystal ball, I see mid-low 13's in your near future.

My axle seal leaks too. I changed it two times with the correct one....and it still leaks....it is so annoying.

How are you running the stock clutch? My 3.0 makes the stock clutch smell when i launch it.... I could only imagine what that 3.5 is doing to the stock clutch.

well i learned this the hard way, but when you fill the transmission up with gear oil, you gotta let it drain before you close the fill plug. too much gear oil in the tranny can mess up the seal. perhaps thats what you are doing

Wait.... so your saying when you fill it up... let it drain? Should I be topping off the gear oil? I don't really understand what you mean by let it drain. Let how much drain? Or just not fill it up to that amount that causes it to break the seal?

If you are trapping 100 mph, there is a 13 second pass in the very near future. I would be happy with a 13.999 @ 100 mph. LOL! Good runs!

hmmmmm whats stage 2, do tell....man yall throwing in engines, clutches, etc like yall changing brake pads. what da heck. man if you look under your hood in my neighborhood, people look at you funny, they dont want a spec of oil on the asphalt...this has been on my mind for a minute now. why is it that when you swap the VQ35 in a 4th gen, it doesnt have that 350Z/G35 like growl like when its in the 5.5 gen, is it cuz most people use the 3.0 ECU, which doesnt allow the use of VTC/timing, etc. to me it sounds like the 3.0, just with a lot of bolt-ons. i heard one on the dyno, and if you didnt look under the hood, you would not be able to tell he had a 3.5 in his 4th gen....just curious

With all those additions you will easily be in the 13 second class. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Too many things to take in account exhaust and intake manifolds ecu's simply put a Maxima will never sound the same as a Z. A Maxima can sound awsome but there are alot of differences in the the setups
