I have one from a auto 98 for $40 shipped. It would give you transmission codes but you would be able to use it to see if the ecu is your problem without spending $100+ for a manual one.

They'll all work, but some may throw codes. Are you looking to throw one and run completely codeless?

If not, any of the ones offered so far will do just fine.

Hell, I've got a '97 5MT ECU as well...as does everyone else, it seems.

I have a 98 5 speed SE ECU, however it is canadian spec which means it may throw a code. I am asking $60.00 shipped.
