ECU tuning

If anyone is near Austin, Tx you might want to contact Uprev. I think they may be looking for a 2009 Maxima to develop an ECU tune. I inquired and was asked where I live which is Indiana unfortunately. Anyone interested?

Technosquare has NO plans for the 2009 ECU. Can't say about others but these two seem to be the most prolific in Nissan ECU management.

TS ecu

I had Technosquare reflash on my old 02 ,auto.Max. I lost power , between 2-5 across entire rpm. Big waste of $500. Only benifit was , no governer, extended shifts past redline, ran a little smoother.

I'm in Texas but not that close to Austin. Do you a POC for UpRev? How long do they need to keep the car?

All that happened was that I inquired about their tuning for the Max. The reply asked where I live so my assumption is they would play with one if they had it. The ECU is probably a close relative of the G37 and 370Z and perhaps the 2008 and up Altima. At least they showed some interest unlike the other guys.

I would just like control of the TPS WOT limiter that also slowly closes the throttle at higher speeds. I saw a video of one and it looked like it hit a wall after 93-94 mph.

I sent them an email, got the info from their website. I noticed that my car hit the wall at 100mph then it just starting coasting up to 115 and then I shut her down. It got to 100 quickly but after that she was as though the engine and CVT were on Cruise Control.

So far I have not received a response from UpRev one or the other, my take is that they're not that interested in doing anything on the 09 Max right now. I say go with Bullydog anyway because their application actually lists the HP and TQ gains on their product plus it is tuneable (UpRevs is tuneable too but you have to pay for it).

Bullydog is more expensive but when you see the product, its' quality and learn how much it does for you, it is actually worth the money. I should be getting mine in the mail in about 2-3 days.
