Went last year because it was close (Chicago). I considered going this year but already have commitments closer to home, (Hot Rod Power Tour and Nub Tour).

so did I, and yes, it was.... but this year is going to be WAYYYYYYYYYY better. Last year it was pretty much just 2 random nights of nobody really doing much, and the main bbq on sunday. this year is actual racing events etc. check out the site in my link for more info. I'm doing dyno and drag as long as i'm financially able to go.

I'll be there. Not sure if I will have my third gen there, unless I can get my fiance to drive it. I am hoping to race my fourth gen, so that will be the car I will more than likley be driving.

Also make sure you book your hotel room if you are coming from a ways away and plan on staying the weekend. The hotel info. is in the main MAXUS thread.

I would not compare MAXUS 09 to previous MAXUS events. This one is going to be MUCH larger in size than any other Maxima event in history. We also have big sponsors in the works, other than NWP Engineering, to financially support the entire event, which is taking thousands and thousands of dollars to put together. We are expecting to at least double the previous Maxima meet attendance record, which is in the low 100s. There should be well over 200 Maximas attending this year's MAXUS!

The entire Maryland International Raceway has been rented out. Maxima owners have the entire track to themselves for the Drag Showdown!

We also have a mobile chassis dyno rented out and will have a Drag Shootout.

Also, a very large Car Show has been organized at MIR on Sat as well as a BBQ/Raffle/Awards Presentation event at a park on Sunday.

Visit www.MAXUS09.com and see for yourself how awesome it will be!

Oh yeah. I will be there racing my full ECU VQ35 swapped 92 Maxima!

Hopefully, you are able to bring the SC'd beast out and race in the Drag Showdown.
