i dont have this car anymore, so im not exactly sure about specific details, but my girlfriend now drives my old 92 GXE and it has died on her two times in the last two weeks. once while going in reverse slowly and then once while in a drive thru line. it apparently just dies and wont start and then it will start again after a few minutes or hours. i am thinking fuel pump or maybe she is accidentally knocking the shifter into a position that kicks it off?

any ideas or similar experiences?

 

Check the ecu for codes first, the procedure is in the general maintenance sticky..
