Help me find my IAT Sensor location

Hey you guys, iv searched around the forums for the location. Obviously i couldnt find it, or not got a good tutorial. I took some photos, i need to install a intake air temperature sensor, because my ECU said so.

^ the IATS

Could some one possibly take photos of their 95 maxima and show me how? or maybe point it out by making a mark on my photos? Thanks guys

Its suppose to be at the left side of the airbox. If its not there then I have no clue. Mine was at the left side of the airbox if your standing on the driver side of the engine.and it was srewed in with 2 screws

The IAT (intake air temp sensor) has to be in the airbox or intake plumbing. The IAT in my 96 does not look like the one in your picture, mine has a metal sensor. It attatches to the airbox with two small screws IIRC.

edit... looks like I recall correctly.

You've got the wrong IAT.

That's a 97-99 style IAT sensor, goes in the snorkel IIRC.

The 95-96 have two screws that secure them to the back of the upper air box.

You can see it in your 3rd pic, far right, next to the tab on the strut tower.

Indeed. Didn't even notice that, actually. Thought it was the OP posting more pics.

The classifieds, a junkyard, etc.

Or, if you're in to paying ridiculous prices for small parts:
22630-0J200, $54.91 each at Courtesy

Local dealerships are going to charge more than Courtesy, 90% of the time.

Better price, just call Dave B...
