07 Altima brakes on a 4th Gen?
Will the front calipers and brackets work on a 4th Gen? I have a set from a car i did under warranty and was curious if there is any benefit from it? Ill try to take a close look but anyone have any insight on this?
If you have them already, just try it. It doesnt take more than 10 minutes to take off the calipers and rotors and see if the new ones bolt on. While you have both of them off, just put them side by side and compare size differences. (weight too if you have a scale)
The worse that can happen is the altima ones dont bolt on and you put your old ones back on.

Ha no i haven't tried it yet, i haven't been drivin the maxima lately. Ill try it maybe later on in the week, i just got too much work right now. I've got a couple timing chain jobs on a 06 Quest and a 05 Maxima plus a headgasket on a B15.
BTW the brakes came off an 07 Altima, Nissan has us update the calipers and pads so instead of tossing the oldies i kept em just to check to see if they fit.

OK I just tried it and nope they don't fit. The calipers are physically wider and they don't bolt onto the stock bracket. And the Altima bracket doesn't bolt onto the knuckle because the mounting holes are farther apart. Also, looking at the brake pads, they're identical in size so im not even really sure it would even have been an upgrade. I took some pics, ill post up later on today.
