"Factory Spec" for current draw (drain) -- Is there?

The local Nissan dealer says that 0.33 amps is "within factory specs" for my 1998 Maxima's standby (sleep mode) current draw.

I think that's very wrong -- it would be 330 milliamps -- but I could find nothing in the FSM that specifies what the maximum standby or sleep mode current draw ought to be.

Does anyone know if there is a "factory spec" for standby current draw, and where we can find the "factory spec"?

Thanks.

.33 amps is a lot of current. My car was drawing 100mA and that was still too much to let it sit for any significant period of time.

From what I remember, under 30mA was the normal range (generally closer to 10 or 15).

I'd also be concerned with more than 30mA.

What systems did the dealer say were consuming that amount of power?

The dealer's technician has admitted that 330 millivolts is too high, and that the spec can't be found in the FSM. He said that during training the Nissan folks said a car could be within spec with up to 500 mA of current draw; but the dealer is not sticking to that or even to the 330 number any more.
