ok, as the guinea pig for the kit, i was the one challenged with figuring out how to get them to fit.... the fitment issues are very minor and require about 15 minutes of safe dremeling. please please remember that when you cut the plastic make sure your wearing some sort of certified safety goggles, as the plastic you will be cutting is VERY HOT and tends to fly.

DYNO info, there is not any certifiable dyno info yet but i will say that throttle response is alot nicer as well as the fact that the difference in temperature on the manifold itself is reduced significantly to the touch. i noticed smoother pulling up top.

if you have any questions feel free to email or pm me.

also, forgot to mention i recommend that you buy a new UIM gasket, its only like 10-15 dollars and the new one will protrude more than the one you have now allowing a more secure seal on the UIM spacers.

Thank you everyone for your patience. It took longer than expected to have this kit released.

There has not been any dyno testing on the DEK engine. The only dyno testing that has been done was on a 4th gen.

Thank you Panda for your help in testing out this new kit. Your input is greatly appreciated.

MAybe it's too early for me lol. Do I have to buy the 00 kit and then the 4th gen kit? Or is this price for the complete setup?

When you say supplies last, how much are available?

The kit includes the following:

- QTY 2 1/16" High Quality CNC Machined Phenolic Lower Intake Manifold Spacers
- QTY 1 1/4" High Quality CNC Machined Phenolic Upper Intake Manifold Spacer from the 95-99 Maxima Kit
- No Throttle Body Spacer is included
- QTY 6 Lengthened Zinc Plated Grade 8 Upper Intake Manifold bolts and washers
- QTY 2 Lengthened Zinc Plated Grade 8 Upper Intake Manifold offset studs
- QTY 2 Lengthened Zinc Plated Grade 8 EGR bolts and washers (only included with purchase of EGR Extension Kit)
- 1/4" High Quality CNC Machined Steel EGR Tube Extension Spacer (only included with purchase of EGR Extension Kit)
- QTY 2 High Quality CNC Machined Steel EGR Bolt Extension Spacers (only included with purchase of EGR Extension Kit)
- Printed Detailed Upper Intake Manifold Modification and EGR Extension Kit Installation Instructions with Photos
- Kit does not include full detailed instructions on how to install these spacers on your 00-01 Maxima. Please refer to the instructions for the 95-99 Maxima for specific spacer installation guidelines.
- Two Die Cut Silver Vinyl NWP Engineering Decals

So you do not need to buy the 4th gen kit separately. Everything is included for you to install the spacers, except for the TB Spacer. The LIM Spacers fit perfectly without any modification. The UIM Spacer is the only one that needs modifying. The 4th gen TB Spacer will not fit though.

The sale price is affected by the limited production run. As soon as the the first batch runs out, the sale is expected to end and go back to the retail price. We plan on stocking this product permanently though. Only 10 kits were produced with the EGR Extension Kit included.

Thank you. In the past few months, people have shown a lot of demand for this hardware kit. I am sorry it took so long to be released. But it's a very nice kit and will definitely work in the 00-01 Maxima if you don't mind cutting up our beautiful UIM Spacer. And if you happen to mess something up during the modification process, I will be more than happy to work with everyone on the price of a replacement part.

NWP Engineering strives to offer the best customer service you've ever experienced!

Thanks again for everyone's support!

As soon as I see the dyno gains then Im gunna have to use some of a paycheck on these. How are these with a wet nitrous system? tThey wont cause pooling in the intake will they?

Aaron, thanks again for releasing the kit, I'll send you my money shortly. Do you guy ship by USPS or any faster way to get the kit ? I will hopefully drop the engine next week-end if my Nissan parts are here in time.

They work great with wet nitrous kits. I've been testing these spacers for the past year with a wet nitrous kit and they hold up great. The material is a very high durable phenolic laminate that is resistance to almost all chemicals and will easily outlast the life of your vehicle.

The spacers will definitely not cause any pooling.

All our packages are shipped via insured 2-3 day USPS Priority Mail. We can ship via Express Mail, which is 1-2 days. But contact me ahead of time for a shipping quote.

Most orders ship within 1 business day. And if you get the order in before 2pm EST, it will usually ship the same day.

Thanks. And good luck with your project. I am liking the progress you're making!

These are only intake manifold spacers. They will not effect header fitment at all.

What header clearance are you referring to?

Any plans to make a "ready to install/plug and play" kit rather than modifying the 4th gen spacers?

What are the gains for this kit for an 00-01? Seems like I read they were pretty minimal, like only 7 horsepower. I could just be ill informed though... that does happen from time to time. I'm thinking about buying a kit.

I apologize for the late reply. We were closed late last week.

The gains for the 00-01 Maxima VQ30DEK Kit will be very similar to the 95-99 Maxima VQ30DE Kit. You will notice a pretty decent increase in throttle response and a smoother power band. Everyone who has installed this kit has experienced better top end HP, similar to the 95-99 VQ30DE Dyno Comparison we've done.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
