FWIW you can get a brand new OEM KS on eBay for $50 shipped - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSA...Q5fAccessories

At that price, no reason to buy a used KS, or pay more for a new one.

Ebay KS

I saw the ebay listing for the ks, but how would i know if its OEM and not just a knock off? Would a knock off knock work at all or as well?

Honestly it doesn't really matter if it's OEM. You could always message the sellers if you really want to know.

The KS should be just like any other aftermarket part; they're generally cheaper, but they'll work just fine.

If I remember correctly some of the a100 KS on ebay are made by the same company that makes the KS for nissan. In any case the one I got works fine.

I bought one KS from eBay before.
This eBay Seller for $45 (product itself) sounds good and $5 ship for US customers, but they
charge $50 to ship to Canada which is by any standard 'ridiculously high' for a very small parts that WILL be mailed in an bubbled-envelope. I am in Canada, wanna share this message if any of our Canadian members wanting to the buy from eBay, pls do the math on shipping. Adding such a $50 shipping (plus the possible custom/duty depends on how they ship), it WILL be more than walking into the local dealer to grab one.
