Thank you and Goodbye...
Thank you and Goodbye...
Well my 89 is now in salvage heaven..
I hit a gaurdrail, spun on the loose gravel and ended up over an embankment. I am fine but car is toast and already in salvage yard.
I just want to thank all of you guys for the past 5 years of help, I could not have maintained my Max without your help not to mention saving $1000's in labor by doing all repairs myself. Maybe some day I will come accross another 3rd generation but for now its just my Dodge Ram 1500 and my CRV.
Thanks again to all of you that have helped me over the years.

Thanks guys, I am fine and I think it has set in about losing my max, there is not another car that is 20 years old that ran as good as my Max and I miss it. Sad thing is I had replaced the normal stuff over the years...timing belt, manifiold studs, bad injectors, control arms, struts, complete exhaust and it was running great. A little loose gravel and maybe a little too fast and now it is gone. I see a good many running around here and you never know I might be in one of them at some point but as a "hobby car" not a daily runner, at least I will know what I am getting, anyone who has had one of these for more than 2 years can pretty much tell you what to look for if you buy another one.
