A/C is broken so I bypassed it with a smaller belt, want to take out whole A/C now

When my A/C compressor died I bought a smaller belt (060355) and bypassed the A/C compressor. My car got better throttle response and more charge to the alternator, and I feel like I got a little more hp too but its probably all in my head. Anyway, I want to take out my whole A/C system. I know the the compressor and condensor have to come out and that long hose and that thing it connects to. Anyone know if I do this will it mess anything up? And is it a simple job?

you'll have a weaker defrost, a little lighter car that's about it.

Remember, some base cars still come with no A/C.

No, it won't 'mess anything up', except the defroster as mentioned above.

If you want to remove everything...that would be interesting.

I removed the AC compressor, and condensor from my 99. As mentioned above, it does make clearing your windows in the summer time a pain....and sometimes impossible. Other then that, you'll be fine. I only pulled the AC out because the compressor was dead, and the condensor was leaking.
