Thermostat replecement

I have bought a thermostat from a dealer without gaskit. The old gaskit looks ok. Need advice on how to install the new thermostat without buying new gaskit.

I would replace the gasket. It should be pretty cheap and this probably will be the last time you ever replace the thermostat anyway.

Spend the extra $1.50

I second that: replacing a gasket is a no-brainer. It's cheap insurance. Do it.
