These tires will cover you more than 6-8 mos and no they don't have any rot. When I buy a car for the purpose of parting out, I discard anything thats no good or or malfunctioning. Usually I don't take a car that doesn't run. I drove the car on these tires and they rode beatifully on the highway. I they wear on them is pretty even, I didn't get any wheel shimmy. I'm in 11412 but I don't know what method shipping you would prefer so I think it would be best for you to check out pricing and the other particulars.
