Carbon Fiber dash error?

I bought a Carbon Fiber dash kit from joshua tree. I messed it up by putting a piece 2 low by the shifter. Does anyone know if I can re-heat it up and take it off and re-set it with out messing it up? Has anyone ever tried it before? I might be also to take it off and get a new one from the company. Thanks for the help.

Fat chance on reposition it. I tried it and ended up ruin the piece. I would contact the company and get another piece.

I dont really know but you could try heating it up a bit and try to use some strong string like kevlar fishing line or dental floss and try to seperate it
