Yikes, I think I will probably pass on this. The junkyards around here sell coils for 15 each and valve covers for 10. Plus other .org members list coils on here for about that every now and then. I think I'll just wait it out till the yard gets a 5th gen in or for another thread like this: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...ion-coils.html

 

so lets do the math say i give them for you for 15 as you say thats 45 plus 10 maybe 15 for the cover say 15 for ease of math thats 60 plus atleast 25 shipped to denver so here knock 15 off and send 85 deal

Yikes man, sorry I feel bad for making this a difficult situation but I'm trying to decide if I should go for it or if I should get out the dremel and just modify my existing coils and rear valve cover. Can I get back to you tomorrow morning after I do a bit more research on 00vi swaps?


Also even if I decide to go for it, it will be a few business days for funds to transfer into my paypal account just FYI.

They are amazing and are the best upgrade for a 3.0 theres your research

2) you want to charge me 100 for everything but coils/valve cover, and then 135$ because Mode complained price was to high on his side, and then 120$ when i asked for just the manifold.

Do you know what PACKAGED deal means like honestly your get more value for less of a outlay of cash if he doesnt buy the coils means now i have less of a valuable product then before so if he buys them I have an incentive to drop the price between the two of you and i dropped it to 100 then realized you were in LA and shipping would be 50 bucks so ask for 120 which we agreed. You A never paid and B he packed out meaning the package is gone so yes now if i still sell to you i have some coils laying around and no buyer meaning ill want more to split them.

 

Geeze man, I'm about to pay 85 for just 3 coils packs and a valve cover and you are complaining about 135 for:

UIM
LIM
Fuel rail
SIX injectors
Throttle Body
IACV

Which has to be at least a good 30lbs of stuff shipped all the way from the east coast to the west coast? I would say 135 is a helluva steal for ALL of that. Not including shipping, AND at my cheap junkyard where I can get coil packs for 10-15 each, all the above ended up costing me 170 bucks!













And dgriff, I am not ****ing you around as far as Paypal goes. If I tell you I am going to buy it, I mean I will buy it. I never have said once that I would buy it yet in this thread. First I wanted to find out how much it would cost here, then based on that decide. Whenever I send money from my bank account into paypal it honest to god takes 2-3business days.

And yes, I have done my research and do know the benefits of the 00vi. The only thing left that I wanted one night to find out a little more about before giving you a hard yes or no, is the pcv issue with using the 4th gen valve cover. The 4th gen stuff can easilly be modified to fit with the 00vi, the only downside is it is said that a relocated PCV valve will draw in more oil fumes. That is it...I simply wanted ONE night to make the decision of whether I want to deal with slightly more gunk for more PCV fumes, and be ready for the 00vi now, or pay 85 for the proper parts and wait a week.


I am just going to apologize for even asking about parting out the 00vi in the first place, and since this has obviously turned straight to **** hopefully this crap will get cleaned up and you can start from scratch and I wish you luck with your sale!
