Changing the high mount brake light bulbs....

I searched, what's the procedure? This is on an I35's rear deck brake light. I have checked from under the trunk, and above the deck. The assembly will move a little, but I don't want to break it trying.

I found the directions in the owners manual, of all places.

All you have to do is push the back of the light towards the window, two hooks will clear the deck, then tilt the assembly up, and pull it back gently, towards you.

Make sure to use the Nissan bulbs too, as the 168 will not light up as well, or as quickly, as the Toshiba T20 5 watt bulbs.

You found that info in the owners manual? I have a 2011 and would like to remove mine.

There are small clips that push in then the light pops out. You dont push toward the window because the light is already against the window.
