4th gen with the door molding shaved off

just kinda curious about this, but ive seen a few cars, one example in the new super street magazine, is having the car painted real nice, but having alot of stuff shaved smoth, like the teal integra on the cover.
the only thing we got on our maxes is that body molding, just wondering if anyone has ever removed it and shaved it smooth. wondering how it will look compared to the max we got now
im thinking other people have thought of this at one point or another.. ....

...etc

That's just two of many with pictures, there are hundreds of others without.

Not for a daily driver. The increased amount of door dings that the molding would normally absorb would negate any appearance improvement.
