FS: HKS Twin Fire Ignition / 3.0 UIM&LIM / Kumho Victoracers

HKS Twin Fire Ignition - I have a used (10K miles) for 95-01 VQ30DE. Paid over $400 for this last year. I am toying with the idea of bringing my car back to stock. This is the first to go. Have the original box, instructions, even the receipt from Stillen. - $275 obo.

VQ30 Upper and Lower Intake Manifolds - $15 or $25 both plus shipping
VQ35 Lower Intake Manifold - $15 plus shipping
(4) 225/50/16 Kumho Victoracers - Only two lap days on the tires. VERY sticky tires for road race or autocross. Not shaved, still have outside tread! Seriously, barely used. Treadwear 40. - $250 - will not ship
Small 16g TD05H Turbo - Mitsu flange. Internal Gate. 11k since rebuild. $200 obo

Let me know
-Pete

$15 for one or both. I will only ship Priority with delivery confirmation so it will only take 3 days at most from date of shipment. Thanks.

Did you notice any advantages in spark with the HKS?
Ive heard many different opinions but none form people who have actually ran one.

Mid and top end torque went up and it was indeed noticeable. I mean it wasn't a peak 25whp gain but it definitely raised the torque curve evenly up top and that is what the VQ needs in my opinion. When the NA felt flat before its now actually alive (3rd and 4th gear are more pronounced). There was some talk of these ignitions damaging your coils...don't buy it. I have run this ignition for a while now and it has absolutely no drawbacks.

Did you dyno to see this torque curve? Also, do the instructions explain how to wire it up for the Maxima? I had read a thread about it needing to be wired different for a Maxima then what the instructions that it came with stated.
PM sent....

I did not have it dyno'd but it looks like you are SC'd(?) in which case you will get better results than I. The HKS instructions are in Japanese with pics but Stillen also sent me an instruction sheet in English and I can assure you it is VERY simple. All that you need to do is mount the unit (I'd say 3"x3"x1"), splice into each power wire per each coil with a wire from the control module (no particular order), and attach the ground wire. On top of that, the instructions give you an ecu pinout if you wanted to mount it somewhere other than the engine bay and the module harness is a neat little package. Seriously one of the easiest mods I've done. PM sent.

Thanks,
Pete
