Climate Control Question - Anyone ever taken it apart?

So, my 1999 SE was broken into last week, and the thieves' attempt at dislodging my stereo from the dash resulted in them dislodging the climate control from the dash. While I successfully put it back together, there are two yellow wires coming off the back of the unit (see picture), and I honestly have no idea where they go. Anyone have some thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks! I'll go look for that foam piece and try to piece everything back together. I appreciate the help.

Just have to hope the connector wasn't too damaged, otherwise you'll have to find another way to keep those pins in the connector.

Though of course you could always stick them directly into the other connector, and just tape it up.

It's supposed to be a plug, why you have two female connectors is weird. I don't think what I see is part of the OEM plug..

You should see two male connectors back there, if not, make it happen. W/o the connection, you'll have no power to the Electronic Climate Control.

Looks like they were just ripped out of the connector when the dash was torn apart.

I realize that. Just figured I was going to see bare wires, not connectors on the ends.

Ah. Yea, it is odd that the wires didn't just rip off at the pin, guess the connector is just that weak.

Thanks Wizard and pmohr - you're right in that the wires should go into a male plug. The connections apparently weren't soldered in - they were just "inserted." So I just "reinserted" and now have power to my climate control.

Thanks everyone!
