If you have all the parts it should be pretty self explanatory.

I hihjly doubt your intake would cause an emissions failure. You might want to check other stuff on the car, like the check engine light. If its on, diagnose the codes and go from there.

Indeed.

How did your stock intake come off? Well, reverse the steps, there you go.

But a CEL for what? If you install a header and it deletes either the precat or the main converter then yes, most cars will throw a CEL. Especially the newer models, such as her '08.

It was a 4-1 header ..Just like the
exhaust mani except the aftermarket
one was bigger, equal length and
ceramic coated.

Man I just took my stock intake system out I shouldve done a write up oh wells its basically easy. All you have to do is take the bottom piece and screw that in first theres 3 holes I believe the bolt is 10mm slap that on and put back on your stock air filter. After that is done now you need to connect the bigger **** that covers up the air filter and all that stuff .Connect back the 4 metal hooks to lock the box.Next theres 2 plugs that connect to the MAP sensor and one small tube everything is like right there bro just use you common sense its like riding a bike. and just tighten the straps up using a flat head or screw driver and there you go.

Weird how he didnt pass the emissions test. When I went in I had headers, Cold air intake and one loud *** exhaust and i still passed with my brakes lights not working and what LOL

Because it's emissions, not safety/exhaust sound level?

It could be anything, chances are he just didn't plug in the IAT or something simple like that.

Without more info, we can't really help that.

Don't know about in PA., but in CA you can fail a visual, you have to have all breather tubes and stuff connected to the intake, no filter clamped to the VC that kind of stuff.

Why exactly are you failing? If you ask them, they'll tell you.

You can't just keep throwing parts at it hoping to pass this emissions test (and you have neglected to tell us if you're getting tested for DTCs or if you're failing an EGA test).
