What in the world is wrong with me?

I like the sound of the stock air intake on my 04 SL and wouldn't want it to be any different.

Because someone else had already started the thread on "I got chewing gum on my front mat, and what should I do?"

Seriously, I posted because I was curious whether anyone else liked the stock intake sound. Seems like a lot of folks have modified air intakes.

Yes, I still have them. But since I like the stock intake sound, I'm going to leave them alone.

Finally, a reasoned response! (jk) Well, I haven't heard anything but my stock intake either, but I can't imagine anything cooler. Louder is not always better.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Some people are afraid of the intake sucking in too much water when it rains. Others are just afraid of the deafening roar it produces. I love my intake and wouldn't have it any other way.
