I'm wishing there was a way to do this, but haven't seen one so far. So much of today's music is acquired in a digital format (not necessarily a physical CD).

Nope, there is no way to do it with CF. You can convert your songs to .wav format burn them to a cd and then record them on to the music box. But you lose the song info when you do that. You can enter the info manually but it gets to be a pain in the but.

 

That's not entirely true. If you use a program like Roxio or Itunes you can enable the writing of 'CD Text'. This copies all the song info and you can name the cd. These programs also have an automatic MP3 to WAV converter built in so all you need to do is select your songs and press BURN. When you copy them to the music box, the CD name is obv the title of the album and all the songs will have their names and artists as well.
