Does adding a cold-air intake or new exhaust void the warranty?

Any thoughts on whether adding a cold-air intake or Stillen cat-back exhaust would void the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty from Nissan?

one thing i have learned is that you need to get it in writing before you add anything to your new car. make sure that it doesn' void the warranty (most of the time it does) and any work should be done in your local dealers shop by one the dealers employees.

If it is determined that the aftermarket part caused the damage, the warranty would be void. But keep in mind the dealer has to show that the damage was caused by the added on part.

FWIW ... some dealers actaully install the Stillen cat back exhuast onto new cars.

Very interesting, I guess it is time to add the Stillen cat back exhaust and cold-air intake.

Thanks

It's the same price as Stillen however they will meet any competitors price so they are competitive.
