Want to paint stock SE rims
I want to paint my stock SE rims gunmetal or black. I saw the thread and i just dont trust myself of doing it. I am in Connecticut and if there is anyone in the area that knows how to do them please let me know. Thanks.

It's not that difficult, just take the time to do it right. Mask it off properly, use plenty of aircraft stripper, sand, several coats of color, several coats of clear. Any little chip of the old paint that you miss will leave an imperfection in the finish, so be sure to hit it really good with aircraft stripper and wire brush and sandpaper, may take several applications.
I used Duplicolor wheel paint, and generic enamel clear coat. Came out pretty good. It's been almost 2 months, there are no chips, scratches, flakes, or anything like that. They've even held up very well to cleaning them with wheel cleaner and a scrubbing brush.
