So I installed me new JWT with 7200rpm and realized that you can only hit the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd! Awesome! ...no way around this I assume?

Now I can't play with it on the highway

Indeed, have you not tried turning OD off to keep it in 3rd? Even on the stock setup, it'll short shift to 4th at ~120, before redline.

 

Read up on the suprastick if you dont want to manually shift and still take full advantage of the raised rev limit. Another option would be the shiftfast mod which is not automated and requires manually switching the shift solenoids on/off via toggle switches or the like, and it will get rid of the shift delay you experience when using the shifter.

 

Time for a 5spd swap.. JK Try switching to OD off to hold the car in gear like what the other OP said. That might work.
