bogus 1/4 mile claim?

So I was checking out some maximas on cardomain when I came across this nice looking 4th gen with an automatic and some styling mods. Then I saw his 1/4 mile time posted: 13.9 @109MPH. WTF, I hate when people post performance stats that they pulled out of their *** or calculated using ricer math. If anybody wants to blow up this guys spot, I already kicked it off.
Here's the page: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2446817/2

It is a possible time IMO.... I know many people that run high 13's with traps around 102-106. Depending on his 60 foot, I say it is possible. Most likely he spun the first 330 foot. Like I said, just my opinion....

I don't see him spinning 330 ft with Murano rims and a stock auto 4th gen. Now if he had no tires on those rims, different story...

It is possible, but not without any major performance upgrades and on a stock automatic. I doubt wheel spin was an issue for this whip.

I believe jime has a supra stick + dropresistor mod on a 5.5 gen tranny , not to mention a 3.5 swap, nitrous, 350Z manifold.....

Also at 109 in an auto you would be sitting in the 5kish in 3rd. So if you have a MEVI/00VI you are sitting in pretty much be in the best part of the power curve.

Mainly its because I use cardomain to research performance information based on different engine swaps and performance mods. So I get annoyed when people who have never even run their car post false information. Not that i cant tell when numbers have been inflated. BTW, you just really hurt my feelings Maybe i do need a life

Searching cardomain isnt going to be a good place to get accurate performance stats. There's too many outlandish claims on there(obviously). Now if you want to see what performance mods and other asthetic mods look like than thats the place. As far as stats though, youre better off searching here.

totally impossible with the mods he claims, not to mention half those mods are fake.
