Grinding/clicking noise before shifting

I'm getting this strange grinding type noise as my RPMS get higher and when im about to shift from first to second then also second to third...could it be an oil change needed or is my transmission fluids low? please help.

Does it happen when you're just revving in neutral, or does the car have to be moving?

Is this with the clutch in or out?

If you suspect engine/trans fluid levels (unlikely) have you not checked them?
