My '01 SE 20th will throw two codes P-0420 and P-0420PD only when it's hot outside 90+ and I'm running the A/C. I clear the codes and all is well until the next hot day.

The car is running great, passes smog with flying colors and gets 24-25 Mpg on regular gas.

Any ideas?

get ecu reprogrammed at the dealer, sometimes that fixes the p0420 code.

also, search the forums, there are alot of info on this code, it is sometimes dificult to get rid of it. G/L
